Montabi combines creature collecting, roguelike progression and deckbuilding in a tactical adventure to save a city from the X-Gang. Choose a trainer and tame a team of Montabi, each with its own abilities and cards. Battles take place on a 3×3 grid, where positioning and combinations between your creatures are as important as the cards you play. Train your Montabi and evolve them to unlock new moves and expand your deck. Equipment and charms offer further ways to shape your strategy, while different trainers favour different approaches to combat. Protect your trainer: if they are defeated, the run ends. Between encounters, visits to cafés give you a chance to recover before the next challenge.
