Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition revisits Lara Croft's first adventure in the Survivor trilogy. After a shipwreck strands her expedition on the mysterious Japanese island of Yamatai, the inexperienced archaeologist must find her friends, confront a hostile cult and uncover the island's secrets. The story follows her transformation into a resourceful survivor through exploration, combat and cinematic set pieces. Lara can improve her weapons and equipment as she overcomes dangerous environments, with traversal and puzzle-solving complementing the action. This edition brings together the 2013 adventure and its previously released additional content, including the Tomb of the Lost Adventurer challenge tomb, extra outfits and multiplayer maps and characters. It is a self-contained entry point to the Survivor storyline, rather than a collection of the three games.
