About
Armatus is a third-person roguelite shooter set in a ruined Paris overrun by demons. You play a supernatural warrior summoned to protect the last survivors and seek the Sunless Gate, a lost passage to heaven. Beyond their sanctuary, the city descends into increasingly hostile landscapes populated by monstrous enemies. Combat combines a scythe with firearms, including submachine guns and shotguns, and celestial abilities such as holy fire and slowing time. During each run, new powers and passive upgrades let you develop different combinations of weapons and abilities to face tougher threats. Death sends you back into the fight rather than ending the journey. Learning enemy behaviour, mastering your arsenal and experimenting with different combat styles are key to pushing farther on each attempt.
