Observer: System Redux is a first-person psychological horror adventure set in 2084, after a digital plague and a devastating war have left society under corporate control. You play Daniel Lazarski, a neural detective portrayed by Rutger Hauer, whose investigation reaches beyond physical evidence and into the thoughts and memories of suspects. The Dream Eater lets Lazarski enter the minds of the dead and dying, revisiting their final moments and exploring distorted landscapes shaped by fear and obsession. Finding clues means navigating these unsettling mental spaces while questioning what is real and how much of his own sanity he can preserve. System Redux expands the original game with three additional side cases, more neural interrogations, redesigned stealth and new secrets, alongside updated visuals and quality-of-life improvements.
