Ratatan blends rhythm-based commands, side-scrolling combat and roguelike progression in a colourful adventure from creators of Patapon. On the island of Rataport, musical creatures called Ratatan set out with their Cobun companions to reach the Everafter and meet a legendary goddess. You move your leader freely while issuing musical orders to the army, choosing when to advance, attack or retreat as large groups of allies and enemies clash. Each expedition offers opportunities to strengthen your squad, with equipment and Ratakaruta cards that alter your abilities and encourage different strategies. Keeping time builds towards Fever Mode, changing the music and powering up your companions. Back in Rataport, prepare for another attempt and refine your setup. Play alone or join up to three other players in online co-op, combining your forces against giant bosses.
