Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is an arcade racing game where Sonic and other SEGA characters compete in vehicles that adapt to land, sea and air. Travel Rings transform each race: the leader chooses the world everyone visits on the second lap, before returning to an altered version of the original course for the finale. The base game brings together 24 main tracks and 15 CrossWorlds, making route choices and changing environments part of the competition. Customize your vehicle with interchangeable parts and gadgets that change its abilities, then combine drifting, shortcuts and power-up items to gain an advantage. Grand Prix and Time Trials offer solo challenges, while Race Park adds team-based contests. Multiplayer includes local split-screen for up to four players and online races for up to twelve.
